Shirasawa-juku (also written with the characters 白澤宿) was the 18th post station (post town) on the Ōshū Kaidō (Ōshū Dōchū). It was located at Shirasawa in present-day Shirasawa-machi, in the north-east of Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture.
Overview
It's from Pott, the next station in Miya-juuji, located in the county of the Underland River. Edo is exactly 30 miles away. According to The General Book of Hajidoku, in the 14th year 1843, Shairasawajuku was a house of 71 houses, one of Jonjein, one of the Wichi-Honjin, one of the journeys 13 and 369 people. Sirasawaujoungjin was a local resident, and Wichi-honjein was taken by Fukuda. It was known as the Sirasawaujuuqui's masterpiece. It is said that in those days there were tearooms in the middle of the kindergarten and that they served cow's juice every four seasons. If you walk from Miya-juka to the old Hakoku, you'll find in the northern part of the village, where the altiplano is located, near the northeastern edge of the treasure site that has climbed. The whitebeard shrine, written as well as of the origin of the gray shrine, is inconclusive. The basilica will install the Tomb house. Throughout the state, he turns right at the pharmaceutical entrance and goes out of the house, across the Kyushu and the Shizuo. This ichirizuka is 30th or 30th place above Edo, and was in the river Goajiro at that time, but it was destroyed by frequent floods and no trace of it remains. At present, Shairawajuku is off the route of 4 national roads that span the northeast from Tokyo through Tochig, and on the coast of Shalasawaku, water from the river runs on both sides, and there are water wagons on both sides, and houses along the road, such as houses and houses, are in the Edo period.
